Dates and location of classes
Classes take place at the University Hospital at 2 Jakubowskiego Street in building I (blue) on the 4th floor. Seminars are held in the department’s seminar room. Information regarding the assistants conducting classes for individual groups, the locations of exercises, and the schedule can be found on the notice board in front of the department.
Typical class schedule:
11:00-14:00 practicals
14:00-14:45 seminar
Due to the need to coordinate classes with the work of the operating block and other teaching responsibilities of the Department staff, occasional modifications to the class schedule may be necessary. Information will be provided on an ongoing basis via USOS mail, made available on the notice board in front of the department, and communicated by the assistants.
Required attire
We ask that students come to exercises dressed (sweatshirt, pants, change of shoes), because some classes will be conducted in operating rooms. You must have your ID visible.
Rules for obtaining credit for the course
In order to pass the course and be allowed to take the exam, attendance at all seminars and all practicals is required (in case of absence – an excuse AND making up the classes). It is necessary to make up every absence. a) Making up practicals: you should make up the practicals with another group, and if that is not possible, you should arrange the time and method for making up the practicals with the coordinator or the instructor of the practicals. b) Making up seminars: you should make up the seminar with another group, and if that is not possible, you should arrange the time and method for making up the seminar with the course coordinator.
Credit – based on attendance.
Test exam:
50 questions
(scope of questions: seminars, exercises, recommended textbooks)
(a minimum of 60% + 1 point = 31 points required to pass)
